We only stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family. Lodge was warm, clean and comfortable. Did not give 5 stars as stream/flood ditch at back of lodge was full of cans and did not smell great! I was going to mention it on leaving but office was not open early morning when we left.
Upside: Warrens is great.We often have works crews stopping over for the night. Cheap and cheerful, Good chalets. No hassle. No interruptions.Beer in the bar Very reasonable.Downside: Angelina's resteraunt. Badly run resteraunt, half the items in the menu are not available. Everything seems to be under seasoned and overcooked..'Apparently tho..., on Sundays, this all changes and they have a carvery. Many say that the Sunday carvery is brilliant', best ever, people come from all over for Angelina's roast dinner.
Stayed here a few times now, and have never been disappointed. Always a warm welcome at the reception and full of information. We have stayed in a variety of their properties when have been here, depending on whether we've had the children. Always clean, tidy and well presented. Entertainment at the local bat at the weekends and the breakfast at the restaurant are reasonable, well cooked and premises clean. Cannot praise the staff enough, they all do a fantastic job and the low prices are a bonus, especially as it mean we can visit the family more frequently
Spacious, warm and clean accommodation, with good facilities. The en-suite bathroom was clean and adequate with good shower pressure and the essential hot water on demand. The ability to park my car right outside my chalet was perfect. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again.
Great place clean tidy fab views restaurant serves nice reasonably priced food. Club bar nice with pool table and dart board.Room was great only let down was poor mattress on bed. TV tea and coffee in room fridge towels in room. Would return.
