What a lovely hotel, although could do with a bit of re decorating here and there, the location of this property is amazing with great sea views. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. Great value for money too, a big thank you to the member of staff who allocated the rooms, our room was amazing with a giant bed and wonderful views to be had without getting out of bed, just propped up on the pillows to see it all. So a big thank you for a wonderful stay even though it was only for one night.
I have been a guest at the Walton Park for many years, since I first stayed with my Parents at 11 years old, so I have been staying at the hotel for 57 years. It is like a home from home, the views are most memorable.Service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble.we will visit again this year hopefully a few times.
Excellent place with good views, food was excellent too. Staff really helpful and friendly. Good of street parking. Will definitely use again.
The room 406 was lovely and spacious, however on returning in the evening my clothes and the dressing table and my toiletries were covered in what looked like white paint or plaster. The staff were lovely. I reported this to the reception.
Rooms and hotel interior a little dated but that didn't affect an overall good experience. Comfy bed, clean & quiet room with great seaviews. Food served in bar for dinner was very good, hot & a decent size portion. A short walk into town to other restaurants & shops plus a good size car park with free parking. Staff were friendly. I'd stay again & would recommend to others visiting the area.
