Car park closes at 8PM but there's a tiny, tiny warning written on the board. There were 30+ cars LOCKED IN yesterday, despite the heatwave and clearly people hanging around in the balmy evening. This means some middle manager OK'd a decision to lock everyone in. If this happens to you, you can skirt around the outside, across the grass to get to the carpark of The Salthouse bar/restaurant to escape. Great carpark, with a ludicrous closing time.
