Open grassed area with trees on two sides. Sea wall promenade and sports facilities on other two. No floral plantings but good for having a run around and as a festival location.
Nice place to take little ones. Playground and snacks.
Good place to park and walk
Nice place for a family day out. There's 2 outdoor play parks 1 for the little ones and 1 for older children. There is also a skate park, amusements, 2 pubs near by. (The little harp) and (the salthouse).Sometimes they have a little train ride that does a circuit of the field.There is a pebbley beach and along the seafront there is quite a few little food bars if you fancy it.
This is a great park to visit, it's a bit bigger than your average park, with a good variety of equipment for all ages of children. With the added bonus of the little train & fab donkeys in the right season. It's a great point to start or end a walk either along the seafront or around poets walk.
